When in St Ives, dog friendly hotels like Gurnard’s Head are simple and great for a relaxing stay. The wonderful yellow house is situated on the other half of the south west road between St Ives and St Just and is a good base for a trip to the coast and countryside before returning for good food, good rooms and warm service in a good atmosphere. Dogs are allowed in the rooms and can sit at the dining table in the fine restaurants. Dog riding in Cornwall can sometimes be unexpectedly expensive, but there is no charge here.
