As the Russian River meanders through the Redwoods, you feel like you’re lost in time in a fantasy world. Especially if the morning mist still hangs over the top.

The pleasant town of Guerneville invites you to an unforgettable memory. Just outside of town is the beautiful Armstrong Redwoods State Deer Refuge. Your dog can be accompanied on the main roads. There are enough roads to many of the main forests, which you can also admire the magnificent ancient trees.
Spend a fun-filled day on the Russian River and take part in activities like kayaking and boating, or just relax with your pooch on the water. Notable entertainment is only on the main beach, Johnson Beach, but there are parks and trails nearby.

It is worth noting that the number of petty crimes has increased in the last few years in the city. And yet, San Francisco remains a beautiful and rewarding city for both us and our pooches. We always look forward to our next adventure in this charming city.
Carmelites by the Sea is one of those places you should visit with your dog. On Carmel Beach you can let your dogs off the leash, kick off your shoes and enjoy a great play area with a fantastic view.
Visitors will find many facilities throughout the city’s charming downtown that cater to both people and interests, including inviting cafes and restaurants. Of course, you’ll have to stop by the Caramel Dog Shop to try on the latest dog trends and styles. Monterey is also nearby, so there will be no end of attractions.
